Students shall dress appropriately for daily attendance at school. Dress should be neat, clean, and in good taste. It is the intent of the Pelham School District that dress should not contradict the purposes of educational programs that foster learning, health and safety. Examples of inappropriate dress may include, but are not limited to:
- Garments which expose the torso, i.e., tube tops, half skirts, and halters.
- Clothing or buttons which show obscene, violent, alcohol or other drug related slogans, words or pictures, or sexually suggestive statements.
All shoes must have a heel strap. No flip flops or sandals without heel straps or covered toes.
